Meet Coach Howard

Howard Elakman did not begin running until he was thirty-eight under the conviction that running would lead him to a healthier lifestyle. After forty years of running experience, 28 marathons, hundreds of 5Ks, 10Ks and many half marathons, he is still going strong and is now dedicated to sharing his passion and expertise among people like you.
As a certified Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) and level-one certification from USA Track and Field (USATF) coach, he specializes in teaching beginners and intermediate runners the benefits of injury-free running. His new book “Stepping Forward: A Runner’s Guide to Moving for Life” is an invitation for you to take action and develop a new healthier lifestyle.
